No platitudes. No timeline. No pressure to be okay.
Grief isn't only about death. It's the loss of a person, a marriage, a job, your health, or the life you thought you'd have.
It doesn't always look like crying. For a lot of men, it looks like anger, staying busy, going numb, or going quiet.
If something is gone and it still takes up space in your head and your days, that's grief.
"They're in a better place." "Everything happens for a reason." "Stay strong." "At least you had…"
People mean well. It still lands wrong, and a lot of men hear one message underneath all of it: handle it quietly.
Here, you don't have to be strong, be grateful, or be over it.
Grief isn't a set of stages, and it doesn't run on a schedule. Anyone who gives you a timeline is guessing.
Loss reshapes the whole system: your routines, your roles, your relationships, how you sleep, how you work. We start by learning what that looks like for you, and what's still holding.
Then we work at your pace, in the office, online, or out on a trail. Sometimes we talk about the person or the loss. Sometimes we don't.
The goal isn't to get over it. It's to carry it in a way you can live with.
You've gotten through every hard day so far. We name what has been holding you up and build on it.
Grief lasts longer than anyone tells you. We build tools for the long haul, including the days it comes back out of nowhere.
Loss changes you whether you choose it or not. Together, we decide who you want to become through it.
